bottle at a restaurant called Bogota in Brooklyn. clear yellow color, thin and tall foamy white head. says bitter pils on the label. aroma of sweet corn, wet paperboard, wet hay. flavor is bitter for a pils as described, and dry at the same time. mineral flavor like club soda. maltyness is corny like masa. some sweetness too but on the low side for a pils.

Definitely the best beer I have ever enjoyed from South America. Noble German hops eveident in the aroma. Nice balance. Good balance, a bit malty for the style. Decent beer.

Bottle from a foreign food store on Cricklewood Broadway. Surprisingly deep yellow amber colour. Not the most unpleasant hot country lager ever, slight malt sweetness, rather lacking in hops. Ron de Caldas is a great drink. This isn’t.

Canned. Pours golden with decent, but quickly dissipating head. Aroma is very faint malt. Flavour is better than expected, with at least a hint of hops. Better than what I had in Ecuador.

Bottled. A clear yellow beer with a medium sized and fast disappearing white head. Rather weak aroma, lightly malty with a herbal note. The flavout is not overly sweet, instead it has an almost decent herbal hoppiness. Light to medium body, lively/fizzy carbonation, dry sweetish finish with light bitterness. A boring beer.

On draught at La Olla Cartagena, Ave San Martin in Bocagrande. pours a very clear light gold color. White head fades fast. Light body, well carbonated, slight crisp hpp presence. Clean, less malty thqn the limited edition Red. Nice beach beer.

I drank this beer from a tall glass in the Bogota airport. The beer had a slightly, but clear gold color with an average-sized foamy white head that had only slight cling and retention. The aroma featured a mixture of grainy and grassy hops with a touch of malt, but was not that pronounced. Its flavor was grainy and bitter, without much else to characterize it. The body had a slightly full mouthfeel with some carbonation and was slightly dry.

Shared a 33cl bottle. A malty lager with not much bitterness, quite watery but serves quite well its purpose of refreshing a warm day.
