4.8 AROMA 10/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 9/10 PALATE 5/5 OVERALL 20/20 McRon (1) - Bogota, COLOMBIA - SEP 18, 2008 does not count
Club Colombia is brewed using the finest ingredients, including the Crystal variety of malt, to obtain a more profound flavour, and of the Saaz Czech hop to obtain a more defined aroma. It is also matured longer to attain a milder, refined touch. This allows obtaining a product with a marvellous aroma, a creamy, rich froth, a more profound golden colour and a milder, delicate flavour, which have turned Club Colombia into the most exclusive
brewery product in Colombia that was just given in Brussels one of the most prestigious awards to brewery quality
worldwide. It is the Grand Gold Medal with Palm Leaves. This is the top distinction granted by the Monde Selection, the most important food and beverage quality certification institution worldwide.
4.1 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 5/5 OVERALL 17/20 Priorat63 (10) - Redding, California, USA - JUL 28, 2009
Appearance: Beer pours leaving a hodge-podge of different bubble sizes in a pure white, foam lace of a head. Colour is a clear, bright, pale yellow.
Smell: Clean and crisp nose, with light fruity, grain, floral and metallic aromas. Delicately aromatic.
Taste: A nice slightly hoppy pale pilsner-lager with a pleasant sweetness that is balanced, and complemented, by a mildly lime-like hop bitterness and floral flavour. Light, complex fruity notes, and a touch of watery grape-like character. Crisp, rather dry, but an overall smooth mouthfeel and a decent body. Tame metallic and fresh bread notes pull through as the beer warms. Finishes just a tad dry with some trace grain and metallic flavours.
Notes: I can remember only one other cleaner, fresher tasting simple session lager I’ve enjoyed this much, in a foreign country filled with delightful people. Seybrew. But save that one, this is an awesome session special!

Very strange, it smells and tastes like squashy beers, I thought only in the U.K. I would find those. But anyway, the flavor is a little strange and not bad.

3.3 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 2/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 14/20 dwyerpg (3462) - Las Vegas, Nevada, USA - OCT 24, 2005
UPDATED: JAN 7, 2012 After awhile in Colombia, outside of the Bogota Beer Company, which is only in Bogota, this will be the only beer you drink. The crispness of it is almost like a pilsener.
This really isn’t so bad for a lager; it makes me wonder why they didn’t call it a regular lager (the whole premium lager thing is a joke anyway, since most are terrible). While this beer is from Colombia and is not so great, my girl is and she is awesome!
