Great tasting, easy drinking. The best ugandan beer at the end of a strenous day!

.5l bottle in Juba, South Sudan. Nice standard lager, less sweet than most around here. Smooth, funk finish. eh.

Bottle. Aroma of malt. Light yellow colour with white head. Mild flavour of malt and just discrete hops. Mild and soft on the palate and hence very suitable for hot weather. Bulundi.

(Bottle 50 cl) Courtesy of my colleague Jeppe. Clear, pale, pilsener golden with a white head. Fairly clean, malty nose. Medium body, some brewing cereal and accents of cardboard. Dry finish without much bitterness. 100507

50cl bottle pours a clear yellow with one ring of fading head. Smells of trash, corn, hay, rotted then dried lemon peel. Flavor is OK, sweet, grass, corn. Watery finish. Non-offensive, but not good.

Bottle- Pours a light color with a small head and no real lacing. Aroma of grain and some malt. Mild flavor of malt and grain. Fairly clean finish. Light body with a grainy texture. Not much here, but safer than the local water in Kampala.

Tasted in Uganda. Really nothing much to speak of here. The hotel had this or the Nile Special and I only tasted this one once (drank more than my share of the special though).

500ml bottle. Had plenty of these whilst in Kampala jinja and elsewhere. Does the job in the heat but is ultimately just watery and carbonated with a small hint of hops

Jeppe (2631) - Ølbutikken, DENMARK - OCT 20, 2004
Pours a frothy snow white head on a pale yellow body. Corny and sour brewing mashy aroma. Grainy, fruity and citrusy flavor. Almost like a soda pop. Would probably be all right in Uganda but in Denmark.......

Disgusting nose of rice, sourness and weak hops. Very pale yellow body, frothy white head. Very bland and watery. Its horrible!
