COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Clun Pale Ale (4.1%), is a thirst quenching straw coloured plae ale. Brewed using Maris Otter pale malt combined with touch of wheat malt, the bitterness is privided fruity Challenger and aromatic Styrian Golding hops. A true session bitter, the delicate malt sweetness is amply compensated by the zesty hops providing a lasting bitter finish that demands another pint

Cask conditioned at The White Horse, Clun, Shropshire. Gold with white head. This was a slightly perfumed, light beer with a flowery edge to it, some bitterness and relatively dry. It was ok.

Bottle - Sweet pale malts and a bit of citrus. Hazy gold with a thin white head. Effervescent bitter bite and some earthy peat like flavors. I quite like the earthy notes.

500ml bottle from Ludlow Spring Festival May 14, drunk on the train after an intense couple of hours in Brewdog. This just about finished me off. Mild floral hops, citrus and a soft bitterness. Decent pale.

Cask, handpump at The Tram, Eardisley, Herefordshire, Tuesday 31st December 2013 (New Years Eve) Golden in colour with a white head. There is a light citrus fruitiness to this beer but the malt threatens to envelop all, I think a little more hops and a tweak here and there with the malts this could be better, as it is, itís fine. Sweetish easy drinking golden bitter with a slight bitter edge, I had two pints so it canít have been too bad I guess. A6 A4 T6 P3 Ov12 3.1

Half-pint, hand-pulled in The Crown Inn, Oakengates on 6th Dec 13. Almost clear golden colour (the wheat malt stopped it being crystal clear I suppose) with a good white covering that held well. Not a lot going on aroma wise: mild hop and fruit esters, but you had to dig for them. The taste was a pleasant blend of Pale Malts and semi-bitter hops, couldnít find any wheat flavours. Pleased to have tried it: OK, but not really exciting, just a run-of-the-mill Pale Ale.

Cask at Barnton Cricket Club Beer Festival 16/11/2012 Pale, light, medium hopped, would make a good session beer
