Orange blonde color, frothy head. Flowery aroma with soap, citrus and a hint of coreander. Flowery flavor, somewhat soapy with loads of mandarin. Evident hop character hidden by the fruit and the flowers.

Bottle at het waterhuis Aan de Bierkant, Gent. hazy amber with a rich, fluffy head that left nice lacing.Coriander and spicy hops aroma. Sweet flavours with good bitterness as well as spiciness (coriander). Medium mouthfeel. Very similar to their Gandavum housebeer, but darker. A well-made and very nice beer.

3.5 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 14/20 JorisPPattyn (6728) - Antwerpen, BELGIUM - JAN 2, 2004
UPDATED: OCT 9, 2004 Pale orange, hazy; slim white ring with some lace. Sweet nose, candi sugar, spicey-peppery. Very sweet taste, lots of coriander, bit soupy. Medium-bodied. Beer is virtually devoid of aftertaste. Made perfectly, more than reasonable aroma, bland boring taste. I wonder if they want to start concurrence the big brewers now, at De Proef.

Rerated 9/10/04 Much better impression - especially impressed by the balance of this beer. Balance between hops, malts, orange zeste flavour is great. I have added some points on taste and overall.

Brewed for the village Kluizen near Ertvelde
