3.1 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 14/20
On tap at One Pint. Auburn/brown pour with little to no head. Malty aromas. Light vinegar and cherry notes are overrun by the big malt characteristics. A little thin and watery. I would say it’s more along the lines of a sour bruin / Flanders’ Red.

3 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 1/5 OVERALL 13/20
Dark redbrown, a lot of beige foam. Thin body, a bit watery. Aroma of sour apple and vinegar. Taste is tart and sour. Dry finish. Easy drinkable. Some mettalic notes. Not as complex as other beers of this style but still good!

2.6 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 4/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 11/20
25cl bottle. Dark red/brown with small head.
NOSE : tart, apple, cherry, pear, cooked dried plums, burned caramel.
SIP : oily texture with delicate carbonation and low to medium body. The beer is very delicate and mild. It’s like a delicate fruit compote to drink or a Kefir soft drink. Medium sweet and fruity. Delicate sour with metallic finish. Short finish. Nothing exciting there.

Bottle @ home shared with Thompson. Dark red-brown color, small off - white head. Smell and taste sourish, lightly red fruits. Not too sour which makes it quite pleasant to drink. Decent beer.

3.5 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 15/20
On tap at One Pint Pub in Helsinki, the owner told me this is still spontaneous fermentation. Pours mostly unclear dark deep amber with a light tan head. Aroma has faint candi sugars, sweet yeast notes. The flavor is unique bringing some sweet candi notes as well from this very unique yeast not produced anywhere else ends. Flavo has some light tang bitterness and then dies a bit early.

Thanks to bu11zeye for sharing this bottle. Brown-amber with a white head. The aroma has some toffee as well as green apples and yeast. The flavor is similar. The toffee and apple notes are joined by some light brown sugar and Belgian yeast. Medium mouthfeel and medium carbonation.

3.2 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 12/20
Draught. Pours brown in color with a small whitish head. Butterscotch and sweet malty notes in aroma. Light burnt hay and some hard toffee notes in taste. Burnt grains and a bit of sour notes as well. Light burnt and sour notes in aftertaste as well. Felt a bit thin, but otherwise quite tasty oud bruin.
