Bottle at home. Dark amber colour with bubbly beige head. Aroma is yeasty, buttery, but marzipan, bit fruity, floury and quite sweet and quite fragrant. Taste is dark fruity, just a hint of sourness, bit quite sweet too, caramelly malt. Bit butterscotch, and quite soft in the mouth. Have to say I really quite like it. Never tasted anything else like it.

(25cl bottle thanks to bu11zeye bb Nov 2010) clear watery (tea-like) brown with tiny white bubbles that are sparse. Nose of caramel, reminds of a Kvass, sugary, cardboard, very light berry. Taste of light caramel, papery, raw grain, light blueberry, reminds me of a soda a bit, very dry finish that’s also watery.

22/II/2012 33cl bottle from Geers (Oostakker) @ home - BB: n/a (no markings on side of bottle to indicate a date) (2012-153)
Clear dark brown beer, small off-white head, unstable, bit adhesive. Aroma: lots of sweetened yoghurt, red fruits, raspberry candy. Mf: good carbon, light body. Taste: sour yoghurt, raspberries, bit metallic, little sweet, lemon zest. Aftertaste: bitter, sour dairy, metallic. Not bad, per se, but pretty weird though.

Darker brown coloured beer with average carbonation and a medium off white head. Light sweet herby sour hinted aroma. Medium to full palate. Finish is rather sweet, little wattery and malty hinted. Medium, to sweet.

Bottle, 25cl, courtesy of Dedollewaitor. A clear, copper-colored beer topped by a dense, off-white head of moderate size. Weak but pleasant nose of cellar, dried fruits and caramel. The flavor doesn’t differ much from the aroma, lacking on sourness I think. Short finish too. Medium body, smooth. A nice one, but too weak. Very easy drinkable. 110311

altonbrownd (3581) - Brussels, BELGIUM - JUN 21, 2011
Bottle from Beer Planet. Dark malty brown with fast-receding head. Nose of malts, caramel, sugar. Taste of carbonated malts, bitterness, some licorice. Quite peppy up front, bland and syrupy in the finish. Not altogether pleasing.

Bottle, bought @ Willems, Grobbendonk.

Nice, clear red-brown with a small, fizzy, off-white head. Disappears into a thin film rather fast. Aroma has fat caramel, tartness, light malty, some rye bread. Highish carbonation, light creamy and fairly thin mouthfeel. Flavour has raisins, tartness, light citric, lactic and some good caramel and prunes in the base. A bit simple but still fairly drinkable.
