Bottled, Filtered, 500ml. Aged almost 3 yrs. Orange amber colour with bubbly white head. Rounded and smooth with a sweet toffee caramel taste and a touch of ripe banana. Pleasant flavour though the body is somewhat sluggish. Little hop character, certainly not an IPA, but a reasonable beer all the same.

Very little head and a nice hoppy finnish. Not what I would really call an IPA more like a bitter.Pleasant but easily forgotten.

Light amber color, almost no head. Aroma has hops, caramel and just a hint of citrus and pear. Hopbitter flavor, metallic and butterscotch. Hopbitter, buttery finish with walnut.

Quite flat dark ale with a mainly alcohol aroma and a deeply hopped flavour with hints of caramel. A very plain English hopped ale. Too strong tasting for the style of drink.

Brewed to celebrate 140 years of the Co-op. Is problably better than my rating but its just so dull. A bit sweet and not much bitterness. So, so.
