Can from Penzance store. Pours clear copper with a foamy white head. Aroma of fruit and old tobacco. It is fruity, moderate caramel, and a hint of earth or old leather. Drinks ok. Just has something unusual. Finishes bitter.

Can. Pours clear amber, light cream head. Modest malt aroma, some caramel in there. Thin flavor, some easy sweetness, caramel, bread, faint metal, modest bitterness. Light bodied with average carbonation. Light, short finish with more caramel malts.

Strong malt aroma, syrup and berry. Dark chestnut colour with a quick dissipating lace. Sweet rich malt, wood earth flavour. Sweet on the palette. a little flat and dull.

44 cl can, Sheffield, UK. Watery cola appearance, pronounced caramel aroma. Mild with an almost artificial bitterness on the finish. Drinkable but better offerings abound.

Clear medium to dark amber color with a small, frothy - fizzy, fair lacing, mostly diminishing, off-white head. Aroma is light to moderate malty, roasted, caramel, maple syrup, smoke light notes. Flavor is moderate sweet with a average duration. Body is medium to light, texture is watery to oily, carbonation is soft. [20090807]

440ml can from my local Co-Op. Mid-brown in colour with a loose cream head; roasted malt aroma; dry, roasted malt flavour; and a light bitterness to finish. This won’t set the world on fire, but it’s very drinkable.

Dark nut brown, small off-white head. Caramel and some saccarine in the nose. Flavor is cardboardish with some caramel and syrup. Light nutty hops. Feels very cheap.

Can. Amber colour, small beige head. Aroma is hops, caramel and some wood,. Flavour is wooden, sightly toasted, mild fruity as well as malty notes. Not hopeless.
