UPDATED: JAN 2, 2011 April, 2005 Bottle. A lagerish blonde ale with a pleasing balance. Nothing is assertive. The whole is gentle, fragrant and nicely crisp with a careful touch of carbonation. Not a great beer, but pleasant enough. [2.8]
Aug, 2005 Bottle. Delicious. A flavoursome honey tinged ale with mild carbonation. Filtered beer but not pasteurised. One of the better honey beers. [3.3]
Jan, 2011 The faintest suggestion of honey in the nose - otherwise a fairly clean beer with a touch of sweetness and a smudge of hops. Clean and laid back. Drinkable, but lacking in character. Like a lager. [2.8]

Slightly hazy dark blond colour. Aroma has honey and light hop. Flavour is quite bland and watery. Not very sweet (despite the honey). Bitter finish.

Pale, lager-coloured with a thin head. Weak aromas of malt and honey. Fairly crisp bitter-aweet mead-like flavour. Not big on flavour but an interesting lager alternative.

3.2 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 15/20 bhensonb (7583) - Woodland, California, USA - MAY 14, 2011
Bottle from the Penzance Co-op. Pours pale gold with a bubbly/creamy white head. Floral and honey aromas. It’s sweetish, with honey, but it changes to bitter in the finish. Seems to be both sweet and bitter. Better than expected.
2.4 AROMA 4/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 9/20 OleR (3658) - Oslo, NORWAY - APR 20, 2011
0.5L bottle from The Co-operative, Parsons Green. Straw golden, topped by a finger of snowy white head. Sweet malt aroma. Notes of fruit drops and artificial sweetener. Taste is like an ordinary euro-lager. Sweet, bordering on sticky. A note of honey, tones of candied fruits. Sparsely hopped. Medium body stenght. Oily, almost buttery mouthfeel. Sweet ending. Too sweet for my likings.

Damn what a waste of hops. I wonder why I even bought these coop beers just to hurt my feelings.
