COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Cask, Special;
This is a medium-coloured golden brew, with a finely balanced addition of Goldings hops, and redolent of the flavour and aroma of banana and toffee, making this a beer to remember.

Cask Stillage at Formby Hall, Atherton 29/01/2010 Caramel malt aroma. Copper amber coloured sweet on the palate and fruity. Finish is crisp toffee malt flavour with a hint of bitterness coming through.

Carton from the 3 judges thanks to Ronnie. Initally this strats horrible, cloying sickly sweet toffee, woody cheap butter fudge with iodine bitterness, but the cloying character heads off after a while and it becomes more manageable. An interesting beer, but perhaps not one id go for again.

May, 2005. JDW, Rochester. Sweet and very pleasant with flavours of banana toffee mint and brown sugar. The thin refreshing session bitter nature of the beer means the sweetness is attractive rather than heavy and cloying. Something different & something very nice! I had a few of these....

Cask @ Wetherspoons, Folkestone. Mid brown colour, with chocolate and caramel malty nose. Not much in the mouth, but nice finish of chocolate malt, caramel and banana

Cask conditioned @ Giddy Bridge(JDW), Soton. V. light banana aroma some toffeish/fudge as well - somewhat artificial without bittersweet qualities of good toffee. Not too sweet with dusty hop finish - a bit watery.
