Deep golden, lightly hazy. Butter toffee aroma. Fairly sweet with filling, rounded mouthfeel. Chewy, despite it's low gravity. Mild flavour of honey and caramel, and a finish with low bitterness. Very British...

On cask at The Bow Bar. Pours a slightly hazy golden colour with a thick white head. Aroma is quite yeasty with maple syrup, caramel and oak. Similar maple syrup flavour with oats and oak also. Mild carbonation and a foamy mouth-feel.

cask at guildford arms ... thin white bubbly head ... soft toffee malts nose... light sweet toffee malts ... juicy sweet .. easy and quite summery and light.

Cask @ Camperdown Place, JDW. Clear orange colour, white head. Aroma is light malted, touch of sweet candy. Flavour is light malted, sweet and fruity. Sweet finish. To sweet to my liking.

Cask @ The Sir John Moore. Mild sour malty aroma. Hazy golden brown colour. Grassy toffee marzipan flavour. Quite smooth with a perfumey aftertaste.

Cask Conditioned handpump Eastgate Northampton. A copper coloured beer with an off-white head. An inoffensive yet yeasty bitter. Bits of fruit and a sweet tendency. Not a lot going on but presentable enough. Just a tinge of fruit skin in the nose.

Cask at the Old Manor (JDW), Bracknell. Amber with a tight cream head; malty aroma; medium body with a sweet malty flavour; then a watery finish. A very basic bitter.

Cask gravity at Bedford Beer Festival ’07. Amber. Faint malt aroma and taste. Slight bitterness. Thin and rather uninspiring.

Cask gravity at The George, Bethersden. Orange/copper colour with no head. Some bitterness, bit watery, some dry hop on finish. Fine, if not exciting

Golden amber coloured and pale. Dry slightly bitter lasting finish.

Cask@Kingston Beer Festival, London. A little too sweet and sticky. Caramely malt characters, flat, sweet and sticky mouthfeel, some lightly citrusy hops in the finish, finishes drier than it starts.
