Golden colour. Honey aroma. Very easy to drink, maybe lacking hops. A bit boring.
2.5 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 9/20 chriso (7065) - London, Greater London, ENGLAND - FEB 22, 2011
Cask [gravity dispense] at GBBF, day 3 on 3 August 2006. Clear amber colour. Aroma is not too bad - some light biscuit malt with a touch of fruit salad. However, on the palate there’s a sort of washed out honey feel that I find rather unpleasant. It’s as if the honey flavour has gone but the sweetness is left behind. And in a rather watery body with very little hop presence to liven things up. Not great.

Cask. Pours a clear pale amber with an off-white head. Lightly sweet caramel aroma. Thin and watery, light nut and fruit accents - perhaps a whiff of smoke? No bitterness. I don’t any beer gets thinner than this. 190110

Some bitterness. Rated: 6,4,6,4,12:3.2
