Cask handpull, The Sheffield Tap. Disappointing that on my last visit they had replaced 4 of the Thornbridge beers with 4 of Coach House’s barely indistinguishable fruit-flavoured efforts. Pale gold, thin lacing slick. Ginger and lemon teabag aroma. Earthy spice without heat, not enough watery bitterness, impression of sweetener, good clean rich tea finish. Almost works.

Cask Stillage at Parr Hall, Warrington 17/10/2003 (As Ginger And Lemon) Clear golden coloured very fruity and hoppy. Smooth on the palate with a hint of ginger in a lasting finish.
