3.6 AROMA 4/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 4/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 20/20 SilkTork (4736) - Rochester, Kent, United Kingdom, WALES - MAY 9, 2006
July, 2004 JDW, Rochester Fresh session bitter. Hops taste as though they’re still growing - mmmm, green and twirly. I feel as though I’m wandering though a hop garden. Lovely, dusty, oily, flowery. Clean, crisp and refreshing. Malt is a little sour, but that just adds an interesting edge. I enjoyed this!

Cask Conditioned at a Wetherspoons, Tiverton, Devon. Pale gold with sluggish head. It seems that Spoons can create boring beers out of very promising ones. All the signs are there for a light tangy special bitter, but this was on the turn and flat. Oh dear.
