Quite sweet, persistent head. A bit acidic fruitiness that compliments the general impression. Good balance. Hay like aftertaste.

1. Cask Stillage at the RUFC, Macclesfield 11/05/2002 Golden coloured with an unpleasant chemically plastic taste. Extremely hoppy slight bitter finsih. 2. Cask Handpump at the Penny Black, Northwich (JDW) 18/07/2005 Golden coloured with sour fruit aroma. Slightly dry malt finish.

Hand pulled at the Wellington, Birmingham. Rather soft, and slightly bland. I expected more for the abv. Smooth, bubbly and milkshake style mouthfeel. I guess this is meant to be a Golden (?), but doesn’t have the citric kick or discernible hop feeling.

Cask Conditioned at Cherwell Beer Festival, Bodicote, Oxon. Orange Gold with bubbly head. Fruity hoppy bitter with plenty of character with an acidic orange back flavour. Refreshing and light though perhaps flabby on the finish.

Sampled cask conditioned at The Rover, Gothenburg, Sweden.
Golden coloured and near clear. Sulphury, fruity, appley, flowery nose. Sweet, rather malty and well hopped. The fruitiness is dominating.
