Tasted this in The Last Post, Paisley (JDW) in November 2011. Cask, handpump dispense. Crystal clear pale copper in colour with a thin white head. Slight malt and sweet red apple in the short aroma. Thin mouthfeel and poor lacing. Robust pale malt strong in the mouth with digestive biscuit note evident. Slight hop prickle in the really quick aftertaste. Dry woody briar flavour in the tart finish. Lacks depth and complexity and a poor session bitter to be honest.

3.4 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 15/20 Leighton (7179) - London, ENGLAND - OCT 21, 2011
Cask at Hamilton Hall, JDW, London. Pours clear copper with a foamy, white head. Light fruit aroma, perhaps some cereal. Flavor at first strikes me like a lager. Don’t know why. Its sweet with some fruity notes, a bit of cereal, toffee and peach. Light bodied with fine carbonation. Sugary sweet finish, very faint herbal bitters, some peach, dough and toffee. Yeah, reminds me of lager.
