This beer was brewed using the brewpub’s Amber Ale recipe as its base. Nice looking, a deep amber body highlighted in ruby with a respectable head. The aroma was a blend of sweet/tart cherries with hints of caramel. The sweet cherries ruled the flavor, although there was an underlying earthiness that grew in the finish. That made it seem too much like sweet cherry cough drops for my liking.

(Tap) According to the waitress, this is a special brew that is basically Coachs Amber Ale with a cherry extract. Pours a shade of brown, with a hint of red. Little head, and light carbonation. The beer is decently balanced, with a good amount of cherry flavor. The beer itself is not too overwhelming, and is refreshing, yet mediocre.
