kreepindeth (405), Oklahoma City, Oklahoma, USA Aug 23, 2007 Very impressive Coach’s! Had on tap at Bricktown location. Pours a dark amber, going on dark brown. White lacy head that lingers. Aroma of pines, juniper, citrus peels. Nice clean, crisp bitter hops pines, citrus. Ample biscuit malt backbone for balance with a hint of oak. Very nice brew! troyc (976), Lubbock, Texas, USA Aug 22, 2007 (Tap @ Bricktown Location) Pours a clear medium amber color with a lasting white head. Aroma is quite hoppy, but perhaps not as much an one would expect with a DIPA. Taste is quite hoppy, with a surprisingly full body compared to other Coach’s beers. Pine and citrusy notes jump out at you the most, but there is a pretty robust malty profile that keeps this beer in check. Very good!
