jgb9348 (1849), Arlington (Pentagon City), Virginia, USA Feb 16, 2008 Super clear gold coloured body with no head at all. Aroma of fresh hops and light malt - nice! Medium-bodied; Malty taste-full of flavour though-not really wheatie though. Aftertaste shows malt, citrus and a little hops. Overall, not a bad beer & a decent start for Coach’s. I sampled this beer from draught at the brewpub in Bricktown, Oklahoma City, Oklahoma on 13-December-2005. AmEricanbrew (1018), Swamp Shreveport, Left Coast, Louisiana, USA Jan 9, 2008 Harvester Wheat has a dark gold color with a fleeting white head. The smell is malty, spicy and tart. Medium bodied with light carbonation. The taste is of tart malts and grainy spice flavors. Finishes very crisp and clean.
Very true to style, not bad.
2003 Cornfield (4344), Oak Forest, Illinois, USA Jan 21, 2007 This poured a clear gold from the tap, but the head must’ve gotten stuck in the lines, ’cause there was only a little film on top. It’s got a light wheat malt aroma that has a soapy yeastiness to it. It tastes like wheaties with a light citric tartness - your typical brewpub American wheat. Drinkable. Coach’s Restaurant &
Brewery, Oklahoma City, OK
troyc (978), Lubbock, Texas, USA Jan 18, 2007 (Tap) Pours a yellow color with some haze and a small white head. Very light and citrusy palate. Some malt is there, but a boring beer overall. I’m surprised this is their best seller. MrRomero (1899), Wiesbaden-Biebrich, Germany Jun 26, 2006 Draft at Coach’s-Bricktown. This one fell short. Poured lemon yellow with a decent sized white head. Little aroma of lemon. Flavor starts off okay with some lemon and wheat notes but then it’s gone into just a fizzy yellow beer. Very short finish. Very lacking in almost everything.
