jgb9348 (1817), Arlington (Pentagon City), Virginia, USA Feb 16, 2008 Good shade of copper with a small off-white head. Aroma of cardboard, light malt and a very minimal amount of spices. Light to Medium-bodied; Malt and some sugars up front with no real spices. Aftertaste finishes with malt and perhaps a tiny amount of nutmeg. Overall, not really a holiday beer that goes with the norm...more of an amber. Good to try during the season out here in OKC! I sampled this beer from draught at the brewpub in Bricktown, Oklahoma City, Oklahoma on 13-December-2005. grant (753), Martinez, California, USA Jan 6, 2008 Deep clear orange, frothy clinging head. Bready, faintly spicy aorma. Dry, doughy malt flavor, little bitterness, not too much spice, but still a suggestive presence. Creamy, with a light fruity hoppy finish. Very like a light version of AV Winter Solstice; thus, I like it. troyc (938), A ’moist’ county, Texas, USA Nov 22, 2007 (Tap) Pours a light amber color with a small white head. Aroma of nutmeg, ginger and vanilla. Taste is of muted spices, and the typical Coach’s amber malt mix. Thin mouthfeel and body. It’s all right, but a little disappointing. Cornfield (4255), Oak Lawn, Illinois, USA Jan 21, 2007 The body of this spicy ale is brassy with orange highlights and a respectable, sustained head. The body is thin, tho’. It smells like sweet oranges with nutmeg and cinnamon. Some vanilla is added to the flavor. Oddly, this isn’t as godawful sweet as it sounds. Drinkable.

jzzbassman (684), New Albany, Mississippi, USA Dec 29, 2006 On tap at the Edmond location; poured a light orange with a small head . Slight nutmeg and coppery aroma. Sweetly spiced with allspice and ginger up front, but so thin bodied everything was hard to hold onto.
