lumpsowers (235), Oklahoma City, Oklahoma, USA Jun 14, 2009 This was served with a new nitrous tap, normally this is served with a regular tap.
Clear copper, nice nitrous head, heavy lace. Very flat, looks amazing, somehow Coach’s beer tastes better when it’s supposed to be flat. Some piny alcohol bitterness. Little fruity, alcoholic finish. Better than the regular tap.

unclemike (834), Ft. Riley, Kansas, USA Mar 26, 2009 from a growler in bricktown Nice hop aroma Orange-copper and only thin-veiled. Grapefruity and citric with a nice bitter ending Thin, watery mouthfeel an ok IPA. milljam (562), Norman, Oklahoma, USA Feb 8, 2009 Depending on the batch...this can be a pretty good IPA. Nice hop aroma....some notes of pine, grass and citrus. Flavor is smooth with some herbal and citrus notes and a nice bitterness in the finish. This is of course assuming that you got a good batch. I’ll give this a 3.4....but Ive had some batches that were around a 2.6. Darkover (1308), Columbus, Ohio, USA Jul 13, 2008 On tap in Norman, copper color with a beige head. Aroma of sweet grainy malts and just a little hops. Flavor grainy malts and hops. Finish is a little bitter and dry. Pretty weak on the hops for an IPA. WesKBob (320), Bethany, Oklahoma, USA Apr 3, 2008 Updated: May 24, 2008I gave this a higher rating a while back, but the formula has definitely changed since the first time I tried it a couple of years ago. It used to be a pretty respectable IPA, but my most recent tasting (5/24/08 at Coach’s in OKC Bricktown) was very disappointing. Poured a clear amber with virtually no head. Moderately floral, hoppy aroma. But the flavor was very disappointing--weak (by IPA standards) green hops and virtually nothing else. Thin, watery mouthfeel. i don’t know when or why they changed the formula, but I hope they switch back soon. jetzler (622), oklahoma city, Oklahoma, USA Mar 25, 2008 Bottle, pours a hazy amber color, some nice hop notes. a bit of apricot, and citrus. Nothing spectacular but drinkable. jgb9348 (2492), Arlington (Pentagon City), Virginia, USA Feb 16, 2008 Amber coloured body with a light tan head that tops the beer. Great aroma of fresh hops, malt and citrus. Medium-bodied; Strong hop flavour with a good malt backbone and a great bittering finish. Aftertaste is all about the hops - very bittering and very good. Overall, a great IPA from a brewpub, this one should be tried by all! This beer was the best of the bunch from Coach’s. I sampled this beer from draught at the brewpub in Bricktown, Oklahoma City, Oklahoma on 13-December-2005.
