aceofhearts (1373), San Francisco, California, USA Aug 17, 2003 Growler. Hard-to-find Oklahoma is now checked off the list. Dark amber, mellow head. Lemonesque flavor and aroma compared with most IPAs. Subtle hints of sweetness here and there, nice dry finish. MrRomero (1893), Wiesbaden-Biebrich, Germany Dec 20, 2005 On tap at Coach’s Bricktown. Mjames said this could be on or off but tonight it was on. Poured orange with a medium white head. Nice grassy hop aroma with a touch of citrus. Grassy hop flavor with a mild bitter finish. If you get a fresh sample through clean taps like me, this beer rocks. acrdz (4361), Boulder, Colorado, USA Aug 17, 2003 Updated: Jul 2, 2005 A sweet hoppy aroma, with hints of apricots and spices, and a medium amber color. First taste is extremely sweet hops, and turns into a mild bitterness. Very dry palate, something I enjoy. At times this beer was almost too sweet, but has a deep rich hop flavor and a long bitter aftertaste. I moved this rating over from "Library IPA" because they are the same. I’ve had a number of batches of this, some are great, some stink. Hope you get the good one. PrinceofNessus (221), Norman, Oklahoma, USA Mar 27, 2004 Nice yellow appearance, very clear. The hops is very apparent in both the aroma and the taste. the hop flavor however, is not as mellow as i would like, it needs to be aged a bit before being sold PhillyBeer2112 (1853), Orange Park, Florida, USA Oct 7, 2002 GABF 2002: Strong lemony grapefruity aroma. Intense citric flavors. A little malt backs it up, and its not overly bitter.
