Amber pour, low head, some lace. Bready, sweet aroma. Very flat, with a light citrus fruity taste, strawberry? A little bit of pine and a juicy or soda-like flavor. Why isn’t this more carbonated? It would be pretty good.

Fairly sweet...almost too much so. Some hints of hops, but not anything definable. Not bad...but nothing really good.

Slightly hazy amber coloured body with a nice frothy head. Aroma of cardboard, funky malt and mold. Medium-bodied; Strong malt flavours with some sugars and a little bit of nuttiness following. Aftertatse shows some bitterness, not much though. Overall, an average amber...not good! I sampled this beer from draught at the brewpub in Bricktown, Oklahoma City, Oklahoma on 13-December-2005.

Pretty much what you’d expect out of an amber. Crisp mouthfeel with a slightly dry finish. Some mild maltiness on the tongue and in the nose. As others have noted, the quality can vary.

From the tap this pours a rich ambe body with a short-lived head. The aroma is malty with scents of caramel, toffee, and butterscotch. These continue into the flavor along with an earthy and grassy bitterness that keeps the sweet malts from becoming cloying. Pretty decent.

It seems that everytime I try this beer it taste different. There have been times that this beer is just plain great, and there are other times that I feel as though (as horrible as it may sound) adding lime is my only hope of getting through this beer. Although, on its good days this amber ale is pleasant and has a nice mix of light hops and generous malts.
