tjthresh (1316), Greenfield, Indiana, USA Mar 16, 2008 On tap at the brewpub in OKC. Pour is clear golden with white head and good lace. Light earthy and citric hop aroma. Biscuit malt. Clean yeast. Balanced lemony hop and biscuit malt flavors. Light, easy drinking body. High carbonation. Perfumish finish. Much better than I expected. jgb9348 (1846), Arlington (Pentagon City), Virginia, USA Feb 16, 2008 Light amber coloured body with a light tan head. Aroma of fresh english hops and some toffee. Medium-bodied; Hops up front in the taste with some nice malt flavours following. Aftertaste shows some sweetness and good hops. Overall, a good English Pale, especially for a brewpub! I sampled this beer from draught at the brewpub in Bricktown, Oklahoma City, Oklahoma on 13-December-2005. Cornfield (4329), Oak Forest, Illinois, USA Jan 21, 2007 I find it hard to believe that this ale has the 3% ABV that it was entered with four years ago. What you’ve got here is a sessionable copper bodied APA. The aroma is a light, sweet caramel with some grapefruit around the edges. The caramel flavor is smoothly balanced with a grapefruit/lemon zest/pine resin bitterness. The hoppy bitterness lasts long into the finish, albeit mildly. Nice. Coach’s Restaurant &
Brewery, Oklahoma City, OK
kreepindeth (405), Oklahoma City, Oklahoma, USA Jan 8, 2007 Very respectable session pale. Nice hop aromas. Mild tastes of grapefruit. The fizz can have a bit too much bite to appreciate this beer. Braudog (3463), Abu Dhabi, United Arab Emirates Nov 19, 2006 Draft at Norman, 11/13/06: Dark orange or light red. Nice firm if thin head. Not much aroma. Smooth. Nice body. After the IPA, this was way mellow. Decently balanced, light malt component and vague hop bitterness. Got better as I ate my burger and the IPA flavors faded. Good.
