3.4 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 16/20
Pours a clear orange with a slight off-white head. Aroma is very mild, with just a hint of piney hops and some lager-like malt elements. Flavor is better - light/moderate bodied and a bit sweet, but quite flavorful with a substantial fruit and citrus presence, hint of pine, and a lingering, moderately bitter finish.

3.2 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 12/20
"Adequately bitter for a NW iPa but not as floral or robust in aroma and flavor ad I’d prefer. Almost English leaning, though a quality made one at that."

Tap. Hazy copper pour with white head. Pine, grapefruit, metallic. Good carbonation. Medium body with bitter finish. A slightly softer and balanced bitterness at the end would be better

3.3 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 14/20
22oz bottle from "Lifesource" in Salem OR.
Pours a deep golden colour with a large frothy, creamy off white head.
Aromas of fresh spruce, orange peel and lemon zest hops..caramel malt backing.
Taste much the same as the aroma..with the lemon and spruce dominating..rather soapy character develops at the end..malts thin in this one.
Mouth feel is medium to thin..not too bad really.
Run of the mill IPA..on the drinkable side though

On draught at Coalition. Deep golden in color with lots of white head and bubbles. Malty aroma with notes of citrus. Taste is grassy and slightly citrusy hops (touch of orange) and a light malt profile. The finish is not bitter. Nice, but does not stand out.

Bomber. Pours a clear dark copper color with a large white head. A light biscuit, honey and lemon nose. Pretty simple: clean caramel, earthy malt, some bitter lemon and oranges. Decent. Nothing stands out.

3.8 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 15/20
Draft at Coalition Brewing in Portland, OR on 4 June 2013.
Slightly hazy light amber pour. Hop aroma was more floral, but the flavour was more of a bitter, citrus hop punch (it’s a good thing). Balanced palate with some juicy malt sweetness, but overall a nice lingering bitterness.

Bomber from Made in Oregon. Pours translucent orange with a transient white head. Aroma is fruity. Med body or better. Flavor is fruity with a touch of citrus and a burp of pine. Malt supports the hop. Finish is a bit muddled, but it’s hoppy with a little burn.
