3.2 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 13/20
On tap poured into a shaker. The aroma is a fairly strong egg drop soup funk with biscuit dough. The beer is a buttery yellow with a white froth head that leaves a dense, thin ring and good, dense lace. The thin textured beer has a creamy carbonation with a taste that’s medium sweet and medium light bitter. The medium light body has flavors of biscuit and honey that’s finishes syrupy with an aftertaste that’s light and biscuity.

Sample at Ale Alpharetta, from Trey. Light gold color, with a small, off-white head. Bright notes of honey, lavender, wheat, and light rye. Mild sweetness, with a good light bitterness. Light to medium, with a little sticky body. Very complex for a kolsch. Bright, crisp, and well made.

3.8 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 15/20
Pours a slightly hazy golden with a fairly thick white head. Strong aroma has wheat, sour fruit, and subtle honey notes. Flavor is more fruity, a little sweeter, less sour, quite enjoyable. Texture is firm, smooth, and lively. Whatever the temperature, a darn good Kolsch.

Hardly any smell, cloudy nothing stands out, uneventful bland and very slightly sour and bitter...refreshing though

2.8 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 11/20
Draft at the brewery. Pours a very cloudy to murky yellow with a small white head. Must be a new or about to blow keg. Aroma is slightly mineral like with some light fruity esters. Taste is initially slightly bitter with some some malt sweetness that seems very heavy on the tongue. Finish is slightly off. Kind of yeasty I guess. Thinking I just got the bad part of the keg.

3.2 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 13/20
22oz bottle in a tulip. Pours hazy golden with a lacy, white head. Aroma of light malts, some hints of wheat and honey as stated, and light hops. Flavor the same. Average to lighter texture. For how light everything is in this beer, it’s not bad at all.

Bottle From COAST. Clear dark straw color pour with a foamy white head. Grassy, flower like aroma with notes of pale malts and bread. Smooth, pale malt and honey flavor upon entry that leads to a grassy, pine finish. Clean, easy drinking and nice on a hot day.

2.7 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 2/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 11/20
Light, crisp, with strong yeast esters and some bready notes. Would be great out in the sun on a hot day, but a bit too light for my liking otherwise.
