COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Our take on a kölsch style ale that is soft on the palate with delicate malt flavor. Balanced with a touch of wheat and honey notes. Dry and winelike with a flowery hop finish.

22 oz. bottle shared by DrSilverworm- thanks again, Chris! Pours a semi-cloudy pale gold color with a small white head. Notes of herbs, grass, pale malts, straw, and celery. Light-bodied, with moderate carbonation and a dry mouthfeel. Really tasty and refreshing. Great Kolsch.

22oz bottle, thanks to caterwaul. Shared with the local group. Mostly clear golden yellow color. Thin white head. Nice loose splotches of lace. Medium body. Smooth, lighter carbonation. More dry texture. Nice bready malt, light pepper. Light bitterness. Little spicy hop. Nice kolsch. Easy drinking, but satisfyingly hoppy.

Bomber to snifter (thanks DrSilverworm). Looks solid; a transparent gold with white lacing. Smells doughy, slightly hoppy, and pleasantly skunky. Tastes like it smells with a good mouthfeel. A decent Kolsch.

Very light, grassy, slightly bitter, easy drinking beer. Wasn’t initially a fave, but was winter and craving heavier and sweeter. Good if not wanting a big beer.

A gracious extra from thagr81us. Thanks Calton, this beer has been on my radar for a long time. This went from the shipper to the freezer then directly into my glass. The beer is golden yellow with a slight haze and a quarter inch of lasting, white head. The aroma offers floral notes, hops, lager malt. Very good. A top notch aroma for the style. Great flavor. Really smooth. Floral hops and lager working together in harmony. So easy to drink and light on the palate. I would like a sixtel of this, please. Overall, this lived up to and even exceeded expectations. Yum. Serving type: bottle Reviewed on: 05-03-2012

Aroma: This one has a nose of sweet malts, straw, and some grassy hops
Appearance: This beer pours a hazy golden color with a white head and some spotty lace
Flavor: It has a medium sweet flavor to it, with some straw, light hops, and a little fruit
Palate: This beer has a light-medium body, a fairly fizzy carbonation, and a dryish finish
Overall Impression: Interesting example, but overall this was not a favorite for me. I thought there were some good components, but there were also some flaws, and the flaws stuck out a bit much for me to go any higher then this.

Bomber, pours beautiful hazy gold with foamy white head, leaving behind excellent lacing, aroma is nice: corny with some noble hop accents, flavor is more corn and softly-sweet, with just enough balancing bitterness, creamy and lovely
