From pilsnerPeterís RBSG 2010. The aroma is roasty, actually ashy and burnt. The appearance is the usual black, tan head. The flavor is also burnt, ashy, roasted malts. The finish is also roasty. Medium in body, thin for this style. Not great.

Appearance: The beer poured a dark black with slight ruby highlights from the light. Plenty of lacing. Smell: Amazing aroma of chocolate, dark fruits, coffee and dark bread. Taste: Nice bready maltiness with hints of chocolate and coffee. Interesting hoppiness to it which provides a nice citrus note. Mouthfeel: Full body with little to medium carbonation. Overall: Fantastic brew! This one would be great during those cold winter nights!!

A jet black pour with fluffy tan head. It is black by the way. Stars do not escape its blackness. Scent is sweet malts, coffee, hints of chocolate. Taste is, well amazing! Coffee is up front with a very nice bitter finish but it is balanced. Super!
