UPDATED: NOV 29, 2012 On tap at closed for business. Drinking this instead of shopping for weddig dresses. Fuxk that. Huge and roasty. Coast can really make a stout. A little creamier than blackbeerd

3.6 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 14/20
Served on cask at Brewvival 2012. Pours a dark brown color with a thin frothy brown head. Decent head retention. Aroma of roasted malts, chocolate, mineral and salty notes. The taste is bitter roasted malts, coffee, mineral notes and a bitter hop finish. Medium bodied. Nicely made oyster stout.

3.7 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 16/20
Sample from a growler. Bittersweet coffee aroma. Milky smooth slight chocolate flavor. Finish has a bit of cocoa and a nice creamy texture. Goes down awfully smooth.

2.8 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 12/20
Smooth, nice, from the growler. I didn’t really perceive any oyster on the palate, just a smooth dry stout.
