The beer arrived with a sweet and fruity aroma with honey and wheat most notably and a bit of caramel. There was a slight earthy character and a bit of citrus in the aroma. The appearance was hazy with a golden amber/almost ruby color and a well lasting tight bubbled white frothy head which laced the glass. The flavor was malty with an underlying bit of sweetness. The beer had a nice citrusy aspect with orange characteristics and some caramel. The bittering level was moderate and kept the sweetness in check. The finish was dry with lasting wheat and citrus long, long into the aftertaste and well beyond. The body was medium with a moderate level of carbonation and a creamy texture on the palate. The beer was quite crisp and refreshing as well. Pint at EVO (actually two!).
