3.4 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 13/20
Thanks to Josh for sharing this one. Pours a deeper hazy orange with a creamy off white head. Aroma of pine, orange, floral notes, light caramel and tangerines. Flavor of pine, light grapefruit, lemon, Cheerios, a touch of caramel and the bitterness is light.

3.2 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 13/20
Hazy amber color with a small, off white head that left nice lacing on the glass. Aroma of citrus fruits, grass, pine, caramel, and light toast. Taste of caramel malts, grassy hops, pine, tobacco, and lightly bitter hop finish.

3.2 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 14/20
Bomber, courtesy OrlGamecock. Bottled on 11/26/09 and consumaed about 1.5 months in. Pours a cloudy orange-amber hue with a small,
frothy, beige colored head. The foam is well retained, and leaves sticky sheets and spots of lacing behind. Grass and citrus hop aromatics boom from the glass, but are quickly subdued by a counterpoint of sweet grain, buttery toffee, and an unfortunate hint of diacetyl. Flavors too show balance, again featuring strong notes of green grass and bitter grapefruit, with sweet cereal grain and toffee in the malt bill. The diacetyl is mild, but present, and serves to detract from an otherwise fine brew. Medium bodied, with balanced carbonation, the finish dries out and shows dusty, peppery grass notes. Decent.

3.9 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 16/20
Hazy gold pour with a fluffy off white head. Aroma is resinous and citric. Really bitter mouth-feel. HopArt more like Hopbite. Either way this is a really solid offering. Caramel, pine, and citrus. Finish is dry and resinous.

3.7 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 15/20
Thanks to Solan for cracking this. Pours a light hazy gold pour. Big citrus and pine hoppiness. Taste has an explosion of hop bitterness, a bit more than what I normally like. Overall, a good IPA that could use a bit more balance but tasty nonetheless.

4.1 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 17/20
Very nice pour, hazy and dark orange. The aroma and flavor is almost a citrus limely flavor, with a massive load of hops. This is definitly a smooth, and well balanced, IPA.

Thanks to OrlGamecock for bringing this to his first Thursday tasting. Nice hoppy aroma of citrus and pine. Bitter flavor. This is a solid example for the style. Good stuff.

Pours golden blonde with a thin white head. Bready and hoppy, earthy hops with a nice dryness, bready malts, with a dry finish. Excellent! Great way to finish off a great tasting.

4.3 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 5/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 18/20
Pours a cloudy golden orange/peach color with golden burnt orange hues when held to a light source and a two finger yellowish foam head. Very good retention, only slowly settling into a lasting cap that coats the glass with sheets of chunky soapy lacing.
Earthy floral hop aroma with lots of sweet citrus notes. Plenty of dank oily hops with hints of grapefruit, mango and lemon peel. Subtle earthy pine character and light malts.
Chewy resinous full body with lots of earthy dry hops and sweet citrus flavor. This beer is amazingly fresh with lots of luscious dank oily hops as well as both dry pine and sweet citrus notes. Lots of mango, grapefruit and lemon peel character with a ton of dry bitterness and dry earthy pine needle. Slight alcohol presence toward the end of the swallow that lingers into the dry finish. Nice biscuit/graham cracker malt backbone provides some balance but doesn’t detract from the glorious hop flavor at all. I loved this beer and wished that I had better access to it. Highly recommended!

3.7 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 16/20
Bottle from 5 points. Bottled on 11/26 so it’s fresh. Everything that a sculpin or duet is not. Hoppy bitterness predominates. This is a good beer, but not my favorite choice of hops.
