Walking a fine line of sweet malt and assertive hop character. A hop presence so enticing it truly is a work of art. Ingredients: two-row*, Munich* & caramel 20* malts, pacific gems* , centennial & cascades hops, ale yeast and tripled filtered water. *organic

7/23/10. Big thanks to darn1207 for sharing! Nice fresh hop aroma that I really dig. The flavor is maltier and a bit sweet, but there is some nice tropical fruity hops in there as well. Nice!

Bottle from Growlers on HHI. Pours clear orange with golden hues, frothy, off white head leaving good lacing. Nose is piny and grassy hops with some resiny notes and a touch of grapefruit. Sweet caramel up front with a good dose of bitter, dry and clinging, mildly resiny hops, grass, pine, lemon, some pepper. Another solid IPA from the SE.

courtesy of tpd975 for the share. hazy golden pour aroma and flavors, lots of good pine hops, grainy and malty, overall, profile keeps a mild spicy hop mouthfeel with a good malty balance balancing most of the hop bitterness. Pretty straightforward but it works, a solid IPA.

Courtesy of Blazer06. Pours copper with thin light tan head. The aroma is crisp fresh spicy to grapefruit to pine hops with subtle malt sweetness going on in the background. The taste is similar with crisp to mildly potent spicy to pine to grapefruit to orange peel like hoppiness. It slowly becomes more and more bitter but overall only reaching a moderate level of hop bitterness.

Bottle shared with my son, Keith. Pour produced a semi-translucent light amber body with thick off-white head. Sweet malts with tons of hops. Very pleasant flowery, hoppy aroma and flavor that lingers long after swallowing. Very good IPA.

Thanks to the Tampa Crew for this one. Pours hazy yellow with a white head. Nose is a bit of malt with piney fresh hops and floral notes. Flavor is similar: a good bit of caramel topped with fresh hops- floral and piney. Very nice beer with a light to medium body that lingers with fresh hops. Nice IPA.

My SC tick, thanks to Brewthusiast.

Golden orange pour with a sticky head, straightforward c-hop nose. Lots of caramel intensity - even some burnt sugar - in the flavor, with a long resiny hop finish. This one might not be a standout on the West Coast, but it certainly holds its own out here. Drinkability is good, with the 7.7% going all but unnoticed until the buzz kicked in. Nicely done.

Bottle shared by someone at the 2010 Summer Solstice, but I cannot remember who. Poured an orange gold with a white head that dissipated to the edges. Aroma had a nice combination of both citrus and pine with a bit of underlying sweet grains. Flavor began with citrus and hay, but pine grew to become the main note in the finish.
