Bottle. Love the label. Pretty standard-looking American beer, amber-orange, just a bit of haze, thin white head of bubbly foam. Drinks with a cloying, acidic bite, but also goes fairly easy, relatively light on the palate, clean and pretty well balanced. (#5175, 7/24/2013)

Bottle from CBX. Bright copper pour with a fluffy white head. Earthy and citrus hop tones up front on the nose with hints of sweet malt. Sweet malt, like pie crust, entry quickly turning into a hop bomb of earthy, pine and citrus. Medium bodied and a bitter finish. Damn nice IPA.

Tap at COAST. It pours golden amber with a medium white head. The nose is fresh pine, resinous, varnish, earth and dough. The taste is bitter pine, alcohol bite, floral, spice, varnish and grass with a lingering bitter finish. Medium body and moderate carbonation. Good level of bitterness. Pretty tasty stuff indeed.

Asa’s Pre-Flight Tasting Beer #7. DeadCATAtlanta brought this back from a recent trip to Charleston. Pours a hazy orange with a bit of white sediment. Not sure whether this is supposed to be unfiltered. The scent is piney and floral. Finishes with a slightly odd bitter taste. Glad I tried, might drink a few next time I am up in Charleston. Bottle - Brought by DeadCATAtlanta

Biscuity malt profile. Some piney hop aroma. Light spiciness. Light grapefruit. Good spicy bitterness. Minimal sweet. Tasty IPA.
