WeeHeavySD (1497), San Diego (Hillcrest), California, USA Jun 24, 2008 Bomber, a bonus from Beer Exchange. Bottled on 3/20/08. Pours orange with 1 finger tan head. Nose of sweet citrus. Taste is full of big citrus and lots of character. A very tasty IPA. badbeer (357), Iowa, USA Jun 6, 2008 Hazy amber color with an off-white head with decent retention and lacing. Light grapefruit and biscuit aromas. Seemed kind of light in the aroma department. Some grapefruit, a touch of lemon, and some biscuit in the taste. Light body with medium carbonation. A decent beer, but seemed like a Pale Ale with the alcohol of a IIPA. travita (631), Lewisville, Texas, USA May 23, 2008 Tap at Poe’s Tavern on Sullivan’s Island. Bright orange color, hazy, with a nice off white head. Citrus hops in the aroma also some pine. Taste is hops with light to medium bitterness. Good balance. Crisp and refreshing. wetherel (876), Carlsbad, California, USA Apr 30, 2008 Bottle opened at PP bottle shop by Tim. Cloudy amber color (I prefer cloudy). Possibly unfiltered? (as all beers should be). Mild hoppy aroma, maybe a little bit of malt. Easy too drink. Delicious. 3.8, but I give and extra 0.1 on the overall impression, because of the high drinkability and no off flavors.
