A: Very fruity. Floral. Hops come through. Balanced A: Pours a hazy orange color. Head is moderate size but the bubbles cascade through the beer as if it were a nitro tap. Pretty nice. T: As with the smell, a big citrus note to start. Hops cut through sharply and the finish is smooth. Alcohol is a nice compliment. P: Very nice. Medium/heavy body. Carbonation is on the money and smooth. The bitterness is a bit aggressive on the palate. Overall a very nice IPA, and more of what I would expect from COAST. A solid citrus note sets this one apart. Otherwise nice on the palate, and the heavy mouthfeel helps subdue the alcohol. Very nice.

September 6, 2015. Can at home, canned, marked 06/30/2?.
Hazy dark orange with a medium sized white head. Aroma is malty with biscuit and caramel, pine, grass, floral and resinous hops. Taste is medium sweet, medium bitter. Finish is malty caramel sweetness with a piney bitterness and just a touch of alcohol warmth. Medium bodied, slighly creamy texture, soft to average carbonation.

Murky orange pour with a big white head. 16 oz can from the pig at market common. Aggressive hops with lots of grapefruit amd citrus peel. Finish is plenty bitter. Nice caramel malt working to balance and sweeten things. Nice.

16 oz can purchased as a single at Wine & Cheese, If You Please? on Hilton Head Island, South Carolina. The pour is a hazed orange golden with a ˝ inch dirty white head. The aroma is floral resin hops with some sweet malt behind. The taste is bright hop bitterness, along with sweet cereal grain malt. The malt sweetness carries the finish. The palate is medium bodied with natural carbonation, and the sweet dry finish. Solid.

Fresh can from Trader Joe’s in Mt. Pleasant, SC. Cloudy orange with aromas of malt and fruit. A very malty IPA with some spicy, piney, fruity hops. Some alcohol heat. A decent beer, nothing special.

A very well crafted, easy drinking, American IPA. Nothing special about it except perhaps, its being so quaff-able.
