Cornfield (4255), Oak Lawn, Illinois, USA Oct 17, 2007 This is pretty lightweight for any style IPA, seeming more like an EPA. The aroma is pretty tame and mild, some caramel and grains coupled with a floral/herbal hopping. Medium to light in body, it has sweet grainy malts in the flavor with a soft bitterness that does grow somewhat during the drinking, but not to the level of an IPA. Sessionable enough.

jarspag (503), San Diego, California, USA Apr 15, 2007 This beer is disgusting. Literally. It looks nice, but I bet you can’t force yourself to drink the whole thing...tastes like crap rybowen (105), Los Angeles 90039, California, USA Nov 15, 2006 Looks good, nice pour, thick sticky head.
What’s with the flavor though? Burnt grass, broccoli, some hints of used ashtray. Sickly sweet and extra heavy body.
I’ll drink it but never buy it again. ChazMania (285), Pasadena, California, USA Jul 30, 2006 One of the weaker and uninspired IPA’s I have tasted. I agree with the other review, I taste asparagus and grass. I would not buy this again. DavidP (1710), Milwaukee, Wisconsin, USA Jun 13, 2006 Hazy orange-amber body under a foamy light tan head. Asparagus, white pepper, wet grassy hay and caramel malt in the aroma. Nasty flavor. The wet hay comes to the forefront with not much else coming though. This is the big wet bale on the wagon smacking you in the tongue. Dry yet rich mouthfeel with that bitter wet hay thing coating the tongue. I don’t think this bottle is bad, the beer is just very misguided.
