Draft at brewery. Nose is slightly muted in terms of hops for a double ipa. Slightly citrus with a hint of danky earthiness. Pours very clear with a medium sized white head. Taste is very hop forward with layers of different hops. Starts tropical then shows off some citrus orange, grapefruit and zest. Finishes with some earthy dankiness. Dry and quenching. Would like to see more hop aroma but very nice and no alcohol burn.

Draft at Coast. Hazy burnt orange pour with a fat white head with sheets of lace all the way down. Tangerine, mandarin oranges, kumquats and tons of tropical citrus in the aroma. Smooth sticky and dank hop flavor on the tongue with lingering bitterness through the finish. Damn tasty stuff.

Bottle on 5/9/14. Thanks to the beer guy at Green's Beverages who grabbed me this from behind the counter when I asked for something local and great that I couldn't easily find. Pours an absolutely beautiful hazy orange with a small white head that dissipates to a ring around the glass. Leaves spotty lacing. Nose is bright citrus, lemons grapefruit, ripe fruit. Fantastic. Taste is also very bright citrus much the same as the nose. Some malt sweetness. Left with sweet malt and grapefruit rind. Very pleasant. Not much in the way of alcohol which is surprising for the abv. Great beer! ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

I don't know that you'll find many better than this. Bottle. Copperish burnt orange color. Light head, traces and almost a soap bubble characteristic. Sharp bouquet, opens the nostrils and causes the mouth to water. Deliciously bitter, makes you want more, with plenty on the back end. Lighter mouthfeel. Which is appropriate.

32oz growler in a teku. Pours copper with a lacy, off-white head. Aroma of citrusy and fruity and floral hops, some pale and caramel malts, hints of spicy notes, and some light dough. Flavor the same with a nice hoppiness. Average texture. A solid double IPA.

Dry beer, very herbal, some really cleaning fluidy flavors, not a fan of this ipa.

From bottle. Pours a cloudy orange in color with thin head. Aroma was huge in tropical fruity hops. Taste follows with a malt balance and a warm booze finish.

The flavor is rather boring. Lightly sweet malt with a seemingly mild hop flavor and a very subdued bitterness.

Pours a hazy orange with a good white head that fades into a thin white layer. Smells of grapefruit and orange with some sweetness and a touch of biscuit. Starts out with a sweet burst of citrus rounding out into a piney bitterness then a earthy spicy bitterness that lingers on the tongue long after the taste. Finishes very dry. Maybe a touch too much carbonation, but pretty good. Mouthfeel is just about perfect. This is a top notch DIPA alright, but just a couple things prevent it from getting the to the top of the heap. Still a great beer, I’d love to have again if the opporitunity arises.
