3.9 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 16/20
A: The pour is a golden orange color with a nice white head on top.
S: An intense citrus nose on this beer. Lots of juicy grapefruit notes with some orange and maybe a bit of pineapple as well. A very mild malt character.
T: A sharp citrus kick up front featuring some fresh and juicy grapefruit flavors. The hops are slightly fruity but also some great piney bitterness, especially on the finish.
M: The body is medium with a really crisp and refreshing finish and a great carbonation.
D: A really easy to drink DIPA and one that is truly delicious as well. I’m pleased to have been able to try this one out.

4.2 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 9/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 17/20
32 oz. growler, sent from Elliesbrown (thanks a lot, Zack!), pours a fairly clear orange with a small beige head. Nose is full of tropical fruits (pineapple, peach and mango, in particular), loads of citrus and resinous hops, and a big malt backbone. Flavour is robustly tropical fruit-heavy and citrus and resinous hops heavy, loads of grapefruit, and with a big, but not overdone, malt backbone. The hops pack a punch, but a beautiful one, without any astringency whatsoever. Full bodied and robust. Beautiful IIPA.

4 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 16/20
Growler… This beer rocks!… Clear amber/orange ale with a small, creamy, white head. Great retention. The aroma is chock-full-of white pepper, tropical fruit and resin – a straight-up menagerie of hop madness. Full-bodied with a milky mouthfeel and gentle carbonation. Leans heavily toward the bitter side of balance. Almost violently bitter, but very tasty. Big-time malts, but even bigger hops. Finishes fruity and ruthlessly bitter. This growler of world class beer was provided by Elliesbrown!

4.3 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 9/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 18/20
growler shared at CCB.
Holy yeast floaters in this growler but the beer remained delicious.
pours cloudy golden/orange, white head, loads of sediments
aroma is loaded with hops, citrus grapefruit, lots of fresh hops, light malt and caramel.
Flavors, holy tastyness, haven’t been that impressed by DIPA since Alpine’s Exponential Hoppiness. Bitterness is subdued and not overpowering, yet finely crafted into this beer leaving a perfect balance with the caramel and malts.
Tons of tropical fruits; from grapefruit to pineapple, peach, palate similar to NZ hops?
Only downside is the whole sediments in the growler adding a mild overly yeasty mouthfeel.
Treacherous, doesn’t drink like 9.5%, but damn this is outstanding.
