A wonderfully mellow and crisp brew. Intense honey flavoring and full body with thick head. Out of growler from CBX. Coast is for sure best local brewery , they sure keep the good suds rolling.

oobawa (588) - South Carolina, USA - SEP 25, 2011
UPDATED: SEP 26, 2011 A strong ale with the soul of a hippie kitten, Wadmalaw Sunset makes for wonderful Sunday afternoon beer. The aroma mixes wheat and spice with fresh linens on a clothesline, while soothing honey rounds things out. Wadmalaw never descends into cloying stickiness; rather, the malts and hops are given surprising room to play, the honey providing subtle sweetness that draws all the varying flavors into focus. The finish is dry yet honey-laced, and the alcohol is invisible against the silky texture. Tasty, tasty brew.
