3.2 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 5/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 11/20
Bottle from Cellar Door, Four Oaks, Sutton Coldfield.
Pours copper, slightly hazy with a single finger white head. Aroma of malts, citrus...Taste of initial malts, caramel, toffee, some dark fruitiness, then some blood orange and a touch of citrus with some flowery notes too. Simple Bitter, I can see why it sells, but itís not the best in the world.

3.5 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 14/20
Very slightly hazy golden beer with a thick, bubbly white head. Bitter smell, very light citrus in there. Flavour is, thankfully, more distinct than the smell. Quite a zesty hit initially, very grapefruity, though there isnít much sweetness and what there is soon dries out leaving quite a flowery, bitter aftertaste. Itís a bit like a drier citra.

Bottle. Dram Shop, Sheffield. Clear gold. Big, bubbly, frothy, lasting, white head. Lots of carbonation keeping it going. Very crisp, citrus notes. Some grassy hop. Clean malt backbone. Taste is light dry, and crisp, citric bitter. Cleansing, fresh palate. Finishes gentle, but lingering bitter. Another bottle from this brewer thatís in fantastic nick. Very sessionable. Good one.
