Very slightly hazy golden beer with a thick, bubbly white head. Bitter smell, very light citrus in there. Flavour is, thankfully, more distinct than the smell. Quite a zesty hit initially, very grapefruity, though there isnít much sweetness and what there is soon dries out leaving quite a flowery, bitter aftertaste. Itís a bit like a drier citra.

Bottle. Dram Shop, Sheffield. Clear gold. Big, bubbly, frothy, lasting, white head. Lots of carbonation keeping it going. Very crisp, citrus notes. Some grassy hop. Clean malt backbone. Taste is light dry, and crisp, citric bitter. Cleansing, fresh palate. Finishes gentle, but lingering bitter. Another bottle from this brewer thatís in fantastic nick. Very sessionable. Good one.

@Raven, Bath. Golden colour. Herbal, floral hop aroma. Bitter, earthy character with more minerals. Malts balance this with characterful toastiness. Nice, fresh "coastal" pint.

Cask @ The Raven (Coastal Beer festival). Rich glassy amber with lacing. Hops are herbal and earthy with thistles and weeds. Toasty, peanut character. Really nice bitter finish is toasty with some roasted roots.

Cask-conditioned at the Seven Stars, Bristol 23/01/10. Pale gold with a slight white head. Slightly sweet malts, a touch of fruit and a dryish finish. Drinkable but not memorable.
