COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Savannah Brown Ale is an American brown ale crafted with a rich malt flavor, balanced by a crisp hop finish. It has aromas of roasted nuts, chocolate, and citrus. The flavors start with a blend of chocolate, caramel, and roasted nuts and follow with a balance of resinous and citrusy hops. The beer pairs well with hearty dishes. Steaks, hamburgers, and sausage are all good choices, and the hoppiness of the beer makes it particularly well suited to be served alongside game dishes. The beer also stands up to strong cheeses such as sharp cheddar, gorgonzola, blue, and (our favorite) asiago

can @ Habersham Beverage / Savannah GA --- Clear amber brown color, out-of-control head that takes awhile to lose its 6" to drop to a 1/2" foamy mess with scuds of lace hanging about. Taste is toasted caramel malt with hazelnut and milk chocolate. The finish is just lightly bittered, but that is enough. Everyday, but enjoyable.

Can. Pours a brown color with a tan head. Aroma of roasted malt and nutty with bit of chocolate. Taste of roasted malt, chocolate nuts and bit of citrus in the background. Mild bitterness and a bit of a malty aftertaste. Medium body, smooth and creamy. Decent beer for the style

Can sampled at Classic City Brew Fest 2014. Pours a light clear brown with bubbly white head. Aroma and taste are basic brown nuttiness with caramel malt and a hint of earthy hops. A bit bland, but nothing bad really.

Can. Pours a medium brown with a thin light tan head. Aroma of sweet malt, lightly roasted malt, hazelnut. Flavor is more roasted with some sweet malt in the finish. Decent brown ale - nothing spectacular- but it’s drinkable. A little sweet though. 6/4/6/3/14 (3.3/5)

UPDATED: MAR 16, 2014 Not bad. Some bitter hops mixed with malty sweetness. Has a dry finish. Another case of metallic flavor in the draft for me tho.

Can sent up by Danny, why, no reason, just did it. Pours a dark brown with a two finger light tan head and tongs of lacing in the glass, aroma is pretty interesting, good amount of roasted malt and chocolate but some light hoppy notes come through too, interesting, the flavor has again more hops and citrus than I was expecting with a ton of chocolate too, strangely works though, a hoppy chocolate and malt beer, huh, good stuff.

Mahogany hued body w/ creamy tan head, good lace. Nutty, rich malty nose and flavors balance with lightly bitter finish.
