Aroma is of strong mildew and a little malt. Appearance is a very attractive amber with decent head. The taste is more mildew and some sweat. Palate is nice medium body and smooth, quite wet. OVerall, this was a drain-pour.

Clear amber with an off-white head and decent lacing. Grassy and earthy hops aromas with a subtle caramel malt in the background. Flavors match, and include some clean pekoe tea notes. Medium body and carbonation and a clean hoppy finish.

Clear dark amber color/ beige head. Soapy, leafy hop aromas. medium bodied. Caramel, marshmallow sweet flavors with tea leaf hoppage. "Hermitage Amber Ale"

(12oz bottle thanks to Cavie) clear rich copper, film of white bubbles. Nose of candied oranges, rye, and caramel. Taste of light smoke, rye, umami, toasty grains of paradise.

orangish amber pour. Aroma of oranges, soap, honey and caramel malt. Flavor is a bit skunky, cardboard, honeycomb, wheat breat, perfumey flavor. Meh.

(12oz bottle, courtesy of Cavie) Pours a clear amber body with a small white head. Aroma of sulfur, caramel, and light roasted grain. Flavor of caramel, soap, nuts, lightly roasted malt.

Thanks to Cavie for sharing this bottle. The beer pours an amber color with a white head. The aroma is toffee, grass and earthy hops. The flavor is not as good. I get some earthy and grassy hops, along with some toffee and iced tea notes. There is also an off-putting cooked vegetable note in the flavor that is not good at all. Medium mouthfeel and medium carbonation.

Clear amber color with a white color head. Aroma is dry notes with some harsh tones. Flavor is dry and bitter spiced. Finishes of veggies.

Bottle: sweet malt, cooked fruits, caramel and a bit of honey in the aroma, flavor is weaker with more citrusy herbal hops and a bit of hay, pretty good.

Beer of the month club, pours amber with a small head, aroma of tangerine and litchi with notes of malt, flavor of baked dough with some nuts and relatively light bitterness for the American style, medium body, decent.
