I also picked up a six-pack at a Food Lion for five bucks. Eden, NC Food Lion for being in the middle of nowhere actually has a nice little beer selection. Don’t confuse Pamlico with Bawlmer’s Pimlico neighborhood like I did. This amber had minor bitterness, caramel and chocloate flavors. If you try it, don’t expect anything special.

Slighty hazy light amber orange pour with a thin beige head. Aroma is plain caramel and hay. Taste is quite dull, cardboard and sweet caramel. Thin and watery.

Amber pour with cream off white head and lace. Aroma of light caramel malt. Caramel malt with a hint of candy like earthiness. Medium bodied with light carbonation.

Bottle. Poured copper with a thin off-white head that left spotty lace. Aromas of butterscotch, caramel, and prunes. The flavor had caramel and a dark fruit background. Light to medium body and sweet throughout.

Found this for 5 bucks a sixer in Food Lion Kinston, NC, and this one sucked ass. The pour was dark straw with off-white head, with a nose of caramel malt, mild hops, and a sour mashy fruit twang. The flavor was caramel malty, with backup hops and a sour twinge that made me think this one may have begun merging onto infection highway. I may try another, or I may dump the rest of the sixer down the drain, depending upon how fast I go through the good beer I bought at Cindirene’s in Ayden, NC.

Bottle - pours an amber color, with a thin tan head and no lacing. Aroma of malt, caramel, and earth. Taste ia a malty, caramel and sweet/fruity flavor. An okay ale boardering on a lager. Nothing to write home about for sure.

Bottle. Poured amber in color with a slight haze to it. The aroma was that of caramel malts with a slight sent of fruit.(could be orange). The mouhtfeel was light and lacked body. The taste was a little bitter with hints of fruit and sweetness. Overall a basic beer.
