Eden, NC Food Lion for being in the middle of nowhere actually has a nice little beer selection. Don’t confuse Pamlico with Bawlmer’s Pimlico neighborhood like I did. This amber had minor bitterness, caramel and chocloate flavors. If you try it, don’t expect anything special.

| 2 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 5/10 | 2/5 | 4/10 | 2/5 | 7/20 | Sep 16, 2009 Found this for 5 bucks a sixer in Food Lion Kinston, NC, and this one sucked ass. The pour was dark straw with off-white head, with a nose of caramel malt, mild hops, and a sour mashy fruit twang. The flavor was caramel malty, with backup hops and a sour twinge that made me think this one may have begun merging onto infection highway. I may try another, or I may dump the rest of the sixer down the drain, depending upon how fast I go through the good beer I bought at Cindirene’s in Ayden, NC. brewski519 (441), Morrisville, North Carolina, USA
