Clear medium orange color with a average, frothy, good lacing, mostly diminishing, off-white to white head. Aroma is moderate malty, toasted, roasted, peat - burnt rubber, alcohol. Flavor is moderate sweet and bitter with a average to long duration. Body is medium, texture is oily, carbonation is flat. (300708)

Cask at the Hobgoblin, Reading. A rather straightforward bitter; amber with a thin soapy looking white head; sweet malty aroma; some honey sweetness and citrus when tasted, and a clean bitter finish. A refreshing summer pint.

Straw with a very short head. Sweet. Sugar and grapefruit scent. Quite thin and flat. Lots of perfume. Citrus in the mouth. Good bitterness, not sweet.
