Cask at The Anchor, Birmingham. Poured a clear dark reddish brown with a thin off white head. The aroma is red berry fruit and malt. The flavour is medium sweet with a rich red berry fruit and liqourice bitter palate. Medium to full bodied with an oily mouthfeel and flat carbonation.

On cask ai Wagon and Horses at Halesowen = one of several excellent ales this afternoon, a full fruity nose and body, well worth adding more expert comment as it hits the pumps this week.
