Cask conditioned at The Anchor, Birmingham. Very Dark brown with cream head. There is an initial wet cardboard note to this, the same note i get from beers that are highly carbonated. Then comes quite a chalky, calcium note, which improves to a dry bitterness. Rather like the Lou Reed Transformer album, I’m not sure what this beer is trying to be, there are some good bits and there are some bad.
