2.2 AROMA 2/10 APPEARANCE 5/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 8/20
0.66L bottle. Version made in poland. Small head that dissapears quite quickly. Aroma almost non existent with just a touch of hop. beautifull clear light golden colour. carbonation too strong, almost like a fizzy drink, which makes it a bit difficult to drink. quite bitter with a bit of corn sweetness in the background. faint after taste. Overall it seems that the double filteration (as stated on the bottle) has taken all life from this brew.

1.4 AROMA 3/10 APPEARANCE 2/5 TASTE 2/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 5/20
Tja, done that, tick the box and never think about this one ever again.

2 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 1/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 6/20
330ml bottle bought at Jasons Food & Living in Hysan Place, Causeway Bay.
Dull urine golden colour; Razor-thin head and residual soapy white foam which fades in 5 seconds; Poor lacing with very slight carbonation; Slightly pungent smell of malt, with corn, light rice, sugar syrup, nectar, faint wet paper, soggy bread and light lemon; Medium sweet taste of moderate malt, with very light rice, corn, light sugar, lemon, strong bitterness and grass; Light body. Thin palate; Mouth feel is fairly good maltyness for a Pale, in a not so watry body. Adjunct taste is fairly light, and sugar sweetness is bearable. Yet the unnatural extract-like bitterness kinda ruin the show. Nah!… Hoppiness is lemon and nectar like floral in nose. Lemon and grass in taste. Bitterness is strong hop extract for a lasting and quite unpleasant bitter finish; Slightly dry after taste. Bitter and a bit awkward to mouth.
Comments: I was expecting full-on corn and rice horror like most Asian macro, but turns out quite ok body wise. Fair maltyness and well-controlled sweetness topped with slight floral could have made a decent case, but the hop extract overkill puts it back to zero. A drinkable macro with caution.

2.5 AROMA 4/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 10/20
Bottle. Pale blonde and white frothy head. Light body and light carbonation.
Average lager. I think the ones I had in India 8 or 10 years ago tasted better...
