a shade darker then a pils. small white head. hop flavour is slightly unpleasant. strange watery-sweet aftertaste at the tip of the tongue . the label states this is a "premium lager". its an OK lager. could drink this if there was only Cobra and big-brand-lagers available. or maybe not...

Accompaniment to many a good Indian meal, but you’re never there for the beer. Basic pale lager - not too carbonated, so goes well w/ the food

- Alcoholpercentage van 4,8% - Biertje gedronken destijds dat me niet kon bekoren - Kan me veel lekkerder biertjes voorstellen, maar kan met mijn smaakvoorstelling te maken hebben - Vandaar mijn lage beoordeling ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

Review based on the BJCP2008 guidelines (style 1C). Bottle 33 cl - Batch unknown. AROMA: low corny aroma. no hop aromas. APPEARANCE: pale straw color and translucent. moussy white head with average retention. TASTE: watered grainy flavour. low bitterness with a semi-sweet finish. PALATE: low body with low carbonation. OVERALL: yet another watered down pale lager.

Fresh, soft and without anything negatively affecting the taste. Just like a macro lager should taste.

Sampled in an Indian restaurant in Oslo. Golden colour with some hop aroma. This is a rather bland lager with not much character. There is some very mild maltiness and a slight bitterness from the hops, but it is a pretty basic lager. It is fine with a curry, and better then some imported lagers, but not really worth seeking out.

UPDATED: DEC 2, 2014 330ml bottle served in an ordinary glass. A: Pours a pale yellow color. Clear. Forms a medium creamy white head. Medium to low retention and few lacings formed and left S: First impression is rice, followed by rice. Nothing special Euro Lager. Sweet malts and Lager yeasts. Citrus hops can be felt in the end. Cascade hops style hops I would dare to say T: Pretty much like the nose. Sweet malts upfront. Strong notes of corn and rice. Lager yeasts. In overall, a dry and crispy taste which is finished by a medium citrus hops bitterness M: Very light body and medium to high carbonation. A good stingy hoppy aftertaste O: Low drinkability. I thought it was an Indian brew... [ BA Review @ 9/25/2012 ]
