kempicus (159), Wellington, New Zealand Oct 17, 2006 Beautiful passionfruit nose, slightly hazy at low temp, once it warms up has a good fruity hop bitterness that is balanced by a cloying sweet alcohol warmth,
Papsoe (9980), Frederiksberg, Denmark Feb 11, 2008 Updated: Feb 13, 2008(On tap) Clear, dark copper with a small, rough, off-white head leaving some laces. Fat, peachy hop aroma. Medium body with sweetish caramel and honey with lots of peaches and tropical fruits before a dry and hoppy finish. Very well made and harmonious beer. But there’s nothing much Belgian about it. 310108 and 060208 TheGrandMaster (1434), Auckland, New Zealand Dec 23, 2007 Updated: Feb 12, 2008Draught at the Cock & Bull in Newmarket (Auckland), settled to a clear brown with a foamy off-white head. A beautiful flowery hop aroma with a good earthy malt background. A good clean and crisp palate, a great flowery and fruity hop flavour with juicy malt. Goes more dry and bitter in the finish. Good enough to drink in pints.
