COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
This is a golden beer with a distinct blueberry aroma and a subtle fruity flavor. The low hop character and blueberry flavor make for a very refreshing brew.

Interesting, there's something floating in my beer that looks a lot like Guinea Pig crap. Oh, its blueberries. I really liked this beer, though it would have been better in the summer, as it truly is a good thirst quencher. Unfortunately, I tried it on a very cold day in late fall, and I didn't experience its greatest benefit. Slightly watery, but good floral hoppiness worked well with the blueberries.

A very solid brew, with berries floating in the brew. Softer feel than the ale bits of grape nuts fruit aromas and just a hint of hop bitter in the finish. Texture is lighly creamy and feels complementary to the berries. Drinkable refreshing. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

Golden with a white head that has nice retention. A hint of blueberry in the aroma. Sweet blueberry flavor. The bubbles make the blueberry dance in the glass. Frothy texture. Medium body.

I’m not normally a fan of fruit beers but this one was decent. It was not nearly as sweet as most fruit beers. It was served at the brewpub with blueberries in it as a nice touch.

On tap at the brewpub. Isn’t this just the Golden Ale with some blueberries thrown in? Apparently a trend, because this is the second brewpub beer I’ve had where they’ve taken an existing tap style, added blueberries after pour, and called it a second beer. All that being said, it’s much less offensive than many fruit beers. Keeping the frozen blueberries for after the pour keeps the flavor relatively fresh, not fighting with the beer characters, and not weirded out by fermentation or time in a conditioning container.

My Bottom Line:
The blueberries are actually MOVING in my glass. MOVING, people. Oh, the beer was decent.

Further Personal Perceptions:
-A lingering sheet of foam covers the MOVING blueberries and their blond ale base.
-Obviously, the nose is full of blueberries, but the blond ale base is also crisp and quite drinkable.
-The mouthfeel is rather dry and effervescent.
-You can’t help but eat blueberries every sip you take.
-This beer is a well-executed novelty item, but nothing more.

On tap at the brewpub.

Part of a 7 beer, 7oz each sampler. For some reason I seemed to have a better experience than most of the other reviewers who have visited this place. I found that all the beers I sampled were very well done and true to their styles. None of them were exceptional but, even in the styles that I don’t usually go for I found them to be pretty good. The blueberry beer was actually not bad and I usually hate this kind of thing. It was not overly sweet like most of the other fruit beers I have tasted.

This is a decent brew. Most of the beers I have from here are pretty good, but this one I didn’t particularly like all too much. Has a cloudy yellow color with blueberries that actually just sank to the bottom. Smells mostly of malts. Taste is very bitter, not much blueberry flavor at all. If you like blueberry ales and you’re in Boston, go to the Boston Beer Works. There blueberry beer is pretty good.

Tasted like dish soap. Left a sudsy/slimy feeling in my mouth after drinking. No good.
