This amber colored English ale is highly hopped and bitter with a citrus aroma and flavor making it great with spicy food.

Part of a 7 beer, 7oz each sampler. For some reason I seemed to have a better experience than most of the other reviewers who have visited this place. I found that all the beers I sampled were very well done and true to their styles. None of them were exceptional but, even in the styles that I don’t usually go for I found them to be pretty good. Their IPA, while not spectacular, was a solid effort which I found to be quite drinkable.

Few flaws but soft bushy bitter without aromatic fullness, lightly creamy, some centennial type cascade edges. Looking for more dryness and aroma to make this a standout, ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

On tap at the brewpub. Pours a clear orange with a thick white head. Aroma of light fruits and sweet caramel malt. Flavor is mostly malty with some bitterness in the finish. Simple ipa, but quite drinkable. 7/4/7/3/14 (3.5/5)

Amber / copper color with a white head that stays dense and lasts forever. Tons of bubbling and balanced malt and hop aroma. Flavor is mild and well balanced. The foamy texture stands our above the flavor, but the finish is nice and bitter.

Nice smooth yet particular IPA. Poured nicely and naturally while at the brewpub, this came across almost like a British IPA on cask. Bittering hops are minimal but the aroma has a nice citric/chalk tinge.

In short: A soft entry level IPA.
How: Tap at brewpub
The look: Clear orange golden body topped by a small off-white head leaving good lacings
In long: Nose has basic leafy hops. Taste is toasted white bread, some caramel, candied citrus fruits, some oranges, dry tree leafs. Overall very soft. Low bitterness level. This is NOT a hop bomb. This is well brewed, refreshing but also very forgettable. This brewpub doesn’t do it to me, but it does have many fans. All of them hanging on the ceiling.

(Rating #3166)

Amber pour light orange tint white head a little creamy .... citrusy hop aroma .... taste of mostly citrus hops and some sweet malts left some decent lacing .... slightly resinous with a bitter hop finish .... a good offering for an american IPA its very drinkable and average

On tap at the brewpub. Pours a nice orange-golden copper, clear, with a thick, silky off-white head that’s dressing the glass in lace. Little to no aroma, if any, some faint Cascade hop touches. Ugh. This is messy. Wet, sloppy, estery mess, with little to no quality hop character. A touch cheesy. Some isovaleric character. Thin. Not well done.

My Bottom Line:
This stereotypical American IPA launches orangey Cascade hoppiness onto a well-rounded body until it is sealed by its wooden, resinous hop bitterness.

Further Personal Perceptions:
-A sheet of foam laces atop the light amber.
-While the base malts were pleasantly supportive, they did not offer a lot of flavor.
-The end result was balanced and very drinkable.
-The hop presence throughout is diplomatic.

On tap at the brewpub.
